Policies & Disclaimers
By booking your stay with us you are agreeing to the following terms, conditions, and procedures. Please understand that these policies are made in the best interest of all guests and staff.
Reservations Policies: Reservations are held with a credit card and charged 100% of the stay at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 6 days are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy: For any cancellation, we must receive 15 days or more prior notice to your confirmed arrival for a full refund of your reservation. Cancellations made between 7-14 days of arrival will be issued a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 6 days of arrival will be charged in full. You are always welcome to reschedule your reservation within 14 days of arrival to avoid a cancellation fee.
Check-In Policy: Prior to your arrival you will be provided with a 4 digit access code for your room and the front door. There is an Innkeeper on site at Bischoff Inn, however they may not be available when you arrive. If you have any concerns in advance regarding check in, please make sure to call so the Innkeeper will be available to assist when you arrive.
Check-in: 3:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM
Early Arrivals and Late Departures: If a guest checks out past 11 AM without prior approval, they will be subject to a $200 fee. Late checkout is available for an additional fee of $40. Early arrivals may be arranged depending on availability for an additional fee of $40. Guests may drop off their luggage before check-in if desired.
Parking: Street and lot parking are available. We advise you to park right in front of the property on Lafayette Street. There is also a parking lot located just off Swatara Street, click here for directions. Please park in these areas only and not in front of our neighbor’s homes as we like to keep those spots open for them.
Quiet Hours: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. We enforce quiet hours between 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be respectful to your fellow guests while enjoying your visit. Amplified sound is not allowed. This includes loud music or amplified voices. Any complaint made by another guest or neighbor may result in immediate eviction and a fee of $500.
Hotel Rights: Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the Inn, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the Inn, we reserve the right to request a guest vacate their room without a refund.
Security Surveillance: For guest safety and security, Bischoff Inn has 24/7 monitored audio and visual security surveillance in the common areas and at the outside entrance.
Accessibility: To maintain the historic character of the property, Bischoff Inn is currently not designed as an accessible building.
No Party Policy: Bischoff Inn has a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all guests and property. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Violations will result in immediate eviction from the Inn without refund and a violation fee.
Photography: Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from Bischoff Inn. Any unauthorized use of images of Bischoff Inn or its contents is strictly prohibited and will result in a fee of up to $1,000.
Housekeeping: We provide a full housekeeping service prior to check-in and after check-out. We do not offer mid-stay housekeeping services unless requested at time of booking.
100% Smoke-Free: We are a 100% smoke-free facility and do not permit smoking of any kind. Any evidence of smoking in the guest’s room or complaints made from fellow guests will result in a fee of up to $1,000. This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars and candle burning.
Pets: Unfortunately Bischoff Inn does not permit pets or animals of any kind.
Furniture and Room Furnishings: All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to its original location prior to checking out. Items can not be removed or moved to another room. Violations will result in a $500 fee.
Damage, Missing Items & Excessive Cleaning: Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages and excessive cleanings beyond normal use of our amenities incurred during the guest’s stay. The guest authorizes Bischoff Inn to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, and fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures as well as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchenware, etc.
